Ford USB Music Box: An Extremely Useful Accessory

Who has never had enough of infinitely changing radio stations while driving? The reasons are many, the excess of advertising space for our ears, the fact that we don't like to hear some rubbish coming from the announcers, the quality of the music, etc...

For these reasons and more, Ford now offers its customers the possibility to decide what they want to hear while driving.

Ford USB Music Box: An Extremely Useful Accessory 32892_1
Connect, Raise the Sound and Live the Music, this is Ford's slogan for its new creation.

The Ford USB Music Box is an extremely useful accessory that allows drivers of vehicles not equipped with a USB port to connect any storage device to their car's sound system. But that's not all, it's possible to recharge your mobile phone and mp3 as soon as they are connected to the USB Music Box.

Axel Wilke, Director of Ford Vehicle Customization, explained: “Many of our newer vehicles are equipped with a factory USB port, but drivers of older vehicles can take advantage of this facility. The USB Music Box allows you to connect any USB mass storage device, produces a great sound, very similar to the radio and also gives you the ability to select between songs and albums using the controls on the steering wheel.”

Simple to install, Ford claims that the device takes less than an hour to assemble. If they aren't "sledgehammers" like me...

Without official confirmation, RazãoAutomóvel has information that this device should cost around €160 in Portugal.
