Zyrus LP1200 Strada: Is this the most radical Huracán of all?

Anonim

If there is one thing that the Lamborghini Huracán can hardly be “accused of” is that of being discreet. However, there are those who think that this could be (even) more visible and the result of this reasoning is the Zyrus LP1200 Strada that we spoke to you today.

The result of the work of Norwegian preparer Zyrus Engineering, the LP1200 Strada transforms the Huracán into an authentic hypercar, giving it not only numbers worthy of this epithet, but also a much more aggressive look.

To do this, Zyrus Engineering added to the 5.2 V10 two turbos that allowed the power to increase to a much more expressive 913 hp… in “Normal” mode, in other words, the mode to circulate on public roads. When you select the “Track” mode, the power goes up to a more absurd 1217 hp!

Brutal and… functional appearance

As you've already realized, the differences between the Zyrus LP1200 Strada and the Lamborghini Huracán it's based on are not just a considerable increase in power. In this way, the Norwegian preparer has endowed the Huracán with a body kit that not only guarantees a unique look but is brutally effective from an aerodynamic point of view: at 200 km/h it produces an impressive 2010 kg of downforce.

At the front, aerodynamic concerns were translated into the adoption of a new bumper, with a protruding spoiler, fins and new air intakes on the hood. Further back we have a roof air intake and new side skirts that also help to form the new and larger air intakes for the engine. Finally, in the rear… well… look at that massive rear wing and diffuser — it looks like it's taken from a competition prototype.

With around 600 new parts and a weight of 1427 kg, the Zyrus LP1200 Strada sees its price starting at 595,000 euros. The exclusive version for the tracks, the LP1200 R, weighs just 1200 kg, is capable of generating 2142 kg of downforce and costs 525 thousand euros.
