After having seen it in a series of spy photos, the new Ford Ranger she reappeared shrouded in camouflage again. The difference is that this time it was the North American brand itself that decided to show a little more of its pick-up, also taking the opportunity to promote the camouflage that claims to be able to “hide the Ranger in plain sight”.

In this new teaser Ranger appears in a video where we can see a little better its lines and in which the camouflage created by the Ford design center in Melbourne, Australia stands out.

The colors of this camouflage are blue, black and white (typical colors of Ford) and the pixelated effect is really effective in hiding many of the details of the model that Ford is getting ready to reveal. Many, but not all.

At the front, the adoption of LED headlights inspired by those used by the “big sister”, the American F-150 is evident and even with the camouflage we can anticipate a muscular look, the adoption of an integrated bumper in the rear and also the presence of a roll-bar.

The new Ford Ranger

If you remember, the result of a partnership announced in 2019, the new generation of Ford Ranger will also serve as the basis for the second generation of Volkswagen Amarok. Also under this partnership, Ford and Volkswagen will develop a series of vehicles, mostly commercial, and Ford will also have the “right” to use the MEB (the Volkswagen Group's specific platform for trams).

Ford Ranger
