Having seen the R8 LMS win the Nürburgring 24 Hours five times since 2012, Audi felt it was time to pay tribute to the successful model and created the Audi R8 “Green Hell”.
This special series presents the body in a specific shade of green (customers can also choose to have the body painted in white, black or grey) inspired by the color scheme used by the number 1 R8 LMS of the Audi Sport Team Phoenix team.
Also on the outside, in addition to 20” wheels in black and red, we have the A-pillars, the roof and the rear covered by a matte black film, and transparent numbers appear on the doors in homage to the competition models.
Matt black details also appear on the rear diffuser and wing and on the mirror covers.
As for the interior, there the Audi R8 “Green Hell” received lighter seats and trim in Alcantara with greenish-blue stitching on the center console, steering wheel, armrest and on the upper part of the instrument panel.
In mechanics there is nothing new

Thus, the Audi R8 “Green Hell” continues to use an atmospheric V10 with 5.2 l of capacity mounted in a central position that delivers 620 hp.

The transmission is in charge of an automatic seven-speed S tronic transmission that sends power to the four wheels through the “eternal” quattro system.
All of this allows the R8 “Green Hell” to reach 0 to 100 km/h in 3.1s and reach a maximum speed of 331 km/h.
