Will many people want an electric Alfa Romeo 4C? I don't think so, but… It wasn't an impediment for Yamaha to use a 4C as a test vehicle for their latest product: a high-performance electric motor prototype , for which it has even started to accept orders from other manufacturers, whether for cars or other vehicles.

This new electric motor from Yamaha is of the synchronous type with permanent magnets and is available in a power range between 35 kW and 200 kW, respectively. 48 hp and 272 hp . Cooling can be done by water or oil.

Yamaha further declares that its electric motor has an industry benchmark power density, thanks to high-efficiency conductors, advanced casting techniques and processing technologies.

Finally, it can even be customized to the specific needs of customers, with Yamaha promising short delivery times thanks to its flexible production technologies.
