Cold Start. Terrifying sight? RAM 1500 TRX with 711 hp on the Nürburgring

The RAM 1500 TRX is probably the most extreme pick-up on the market. It was built to face the Ford F-150 Raptor and features a 6.2 l supercharged V8 engine that produces 711 hp of power and 880 Nm of maximum torque.

Thanks to this, and despite its weight approaching three tonnes, it is able to complete the sprint from 0 to 96 km/h (60 miles/hour) in 4.8s and reach a maximum speed of 190 km/h , an electronic limit set by the US brand.

But despite the impressive numbers, it's much more comfortable off-road than on asphalt, which didn't stop British youtuber BTGale from putting it to the test on the most demanding circuit in the world, the mythical Nürburgring, in Germany.

And the result turned out to be what we expected: decent handling on the straight, where the 711 hp makes itself felt, but more delicate in corners, thanks to the off road tires, and the steep leaning of the bodywork.

In addition to all that, the brake system overheated and smoke is even seen in less than half a lap of the German circuit, which clearly shows that this is not territory for this “super pick-up”. But the best thing is to watch the video:
