The BMW M5 CS is the most powerful production BMW ever and can be seen as something of a “swan song” for the pure combustion M5. We've already tried it out (you can watch or review the video essay below) and were thrilled with what it has to offer, but because there's always someone who wants more, Manhart has just made you even more… nervous!
Named MH5 GTR, the model we are showing you here is based on the new BMW M5 CS, but contrary to what almost always happens, it is not offered as a tuning kit but as a one-off example.
In other words, the German preparer will sell only one unit of the MH5 GTR, which lost the gold details of the production version and adopted an image with black accents.

In addition to the dark blue paintwork and Manhart graphics in grey, this MH5 GTR also stands out for having a darkened front grille frame and forged 21” wheels painted black.
But if the exterior image became even more aggressive, the interior changed little or nothing. By the way, the only difference we were able to identify is the Manhart logo right in the middle of the wheel in Alcantara.
More power, of course!
As standard, the BMW M5 CS has a 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 engine that produces 635 hp and 750 Nm of maximum torque, figures that make it the most powerful production BMW ever.
But Manhart engineers managed to extract even more power from this eight-cylinder block, which, thanks to a new engine control unit and a new carbon fiber intake, now produces 788 hp and 935 Nm.
In addition to this, the well-known German preparer even equipped the MH5 GTR with a new set of adjustable springs from KW, for an even more impressive dynamic behavior.
Manhart does not reveal the price of this MH5 GTR, but as this is a unique model in the world, it's not hard to guess that it won't be cheap, especially considering that the BMW M5 CS starts at 225 000 euros on the domestic market.
