Cold Start. TechArt wears a Porsche 911 Targa in the colors of the German police

Tradition is still what it was. As happens every year, a German preparer was invited to create a police car as part of the “Tune It! Safe!”. This year the mission was in charge of TechArt, which modified the Porsche 911 Targa 4. The presentation took place at the Essen Motor Show, in Germany, on November 26th.

In addition to the German police color scheme, this 911 Targa features the usual bridge lights on the roof and extra LED lights on the hood, which is constructed entirely of carbon.

To all this there is also to add an aerodynamic package that completely transforms the image of this model, which "won" a front diffuser, more prominent side skirts and a small rear spoiler.

As for the engine, TechArt makes no mention of modifications, so everything indicates that the base remains a 3.0-liter turbocharged six-cylinder boxer with 385 hp.

For a more refined dynamics, it also has sportier springs that allow you to lower the height to the ground by 40 mm.

Looks like the Police...

Despite the “à la Polizei” decoration, this 911 Targa is only intended to warn against unsafe, low-quality and illegal tuning practices, so they won't catch you on the famous autobahn.
