In the automotive world there is a set of models that practically need no introduction and one of them is, precisely, the Nissan Skyline GT-R V-Spec II Nür.

Arrived in the last year of production of the R34 generation, the Skyline GT-R V-Spec II Nür was based on the V-Spec II released in the year 2000.

As you may have already noticed, the designation “Nür” is a reference to the famous Nürburgring and in total only 718 units of this very special Skyline GT-R V-Spec II Nür were produced.

Under the bonnet was a modified version of the famous 2.6 l twin-turbo inline six known by the “war name” RB26. With larger turbos this offered 334 hp of power.

Still in the chapter of changes, the Nissan Skyline GT-R V-Spec II Nür had a firmer suspension, larger brakes and a carbon fiber hood.

One of just 156 units of the Skyline GT-R V-Spec II Nür painted in the Millenium Jade color, the exemplar put up for sale by JDM Expo saw the light of day in 2002 and has since traveled just 362 km.

In a virtually immaculate state, this Skyline GT-R V-Spec II Nür even has plastic that protects the seats.

All that said, the $485,000 (about 413,000 euros) ordered does not seem excessive. After all, earlier this month a Skyline GT-R M-Spec Nür also painted in the Millenium Jade color with 6817 km was sold for $313,645 (about €268,000).

While it's true that the Skyline GT-R M-Spec Nür is even rarer (only 144 specimens were produced), it's no less true that it already had a lot more kilometers than the specimen we're talking about today.
