This Alfa Romeo Giulietta TCR has never raced and is looking for a new owner

It's not cheap — (almost) 180,000 dollars, the equivalent of just over 148,000 euros — but this one Alfa Romeo Giulietta TCR of 2019 is genuine. It was originally developed by Romeo Ferraris and this particular unit was prepared by Risi Competizione — Italian-American scuderia that runs mainly in GT championships with Ferrari models.

The Giulietta TCR, although independently developed, proved its competitiveness on the circuit and allowed Team Mulsanne's Jean-Karl Vernay to rise to third place in the WTCR in 2020, being the champion among the independents.

The unit for sale, on the other hand, has never run (but has recorded 80 km). It is being sold by Ferrari of Houston in the US — where Risi Competizione is also headquartered — but being under TCR specification allows the Alfa Romeo Giulietta TCR to participate in various US and Canadian championships such as the IMSA Michelin Pilot Series , SRO TC America, SCCA, NASA (National Auto Sport Association, so there's no confusion) and the Canadian Touring Car Championship.

The Giulietta TCR is based on the production Giulietta QV and shares the same 1742 cm3 turbocharged engine with it, but here it sees its power grow to around 340-350 hp. It remains a front-wheel drive, with the transmission being carried out via a six-speed Sadev sequential gearbox, with paddles behind the steering wheel, and it also has a self-locking differential.

At just 1265 kg, driver included, expect high performance. To ensure the minimum possible braking distance and the ideal trajectory towards the apex of the curve, the Giulietta TCR also features ventilated brake discs at the front, with a diameter of 378 mm and six-piston calipers, and discs at the rear of 290 mm with Two-plunger calipers.
