Pagani Huayra R. The antidote to electric hypercars

Anonim

Absolutely epic is the sound of Pagani Huayra R and its 6.0 atmospheric V12, capable of screaming at 9000 rpm and delivering 850 hp of power.

This is what we can see and, above all, hear in this video of the most extreme version of the Italian super sports car, which can only ride on a circuit.

The Pagani Huayra R is the “swan song” of the Italian super sports car. Launched in 2011, as a coupé, and as a roadster, in 2017, it was at the end of 2020 that we saw the last Huayra being produced — 100 coupés and 100 roadsters are the final numbers.

The Huayra R, like its epic predecessor, the Zonda R, responds to the desire to extract the machine's full performance potential, without being limited by the constraints imposed on road models or the millimeter regulations of competition cars.

In an era in which the internal combustion engine is under attack from all sides, and electric hypersports capable of distorting space-time are starting to emerge, the Pagani Huayra R reminds us that there is much more to it than just the numbers — which they already are. quite “obscene” in this case — when it comes to automobiles. Mainly cars as special as the Huayra.
