After the renovation of the Bentayga and Bentayga Speed, Bentley has just expanded its SUV catalog with the edition of a new version, with a sportier focus, called Bentayga S.
The Bentley Speed remains the fastest proposal on the Bentayga, but according to the Crewe brand, the unprecedented S variant is the answer to the need that “many customers who enjoy the dynamic performance of their Bentayga on the road” had.
The Bentley Dynamic Ride — inherited from the rest of the Bentayga — which includes the active stabilizer bars scheme, a possibility allowed by the 48 V electrical system, contributes greatly to this.
Bentley says the system can apply up to 1300Nm of torque to counteract the side roll when cornering, taking just 0.3s to react. This system, which is standard on the Bentayga S, promises maximum tire contact with the asphalt and greater stability in the cab.
In addition to all this, this Bentley Bentayga S also offers an improved Sport driving mode, with a faster responsive throttle, more communicative steering and a 15% firmer suspension.
The torque vectoring system has a specific calibration for this version that causes the car to lightly lock the inner rear wheel at the entrance of each curve in order to better target the front axle, making the Crewe brand SUV even more need.
The numbers of this V8
Driving this Bentley Bentayga S is the well-known 4.0 liter twin-turbo V8 engine that produces 550 hp of power and 770 Nm of maximum torque.
These numbers allow the acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h to be fulfilled in 4.5s and that this British SUV reaches 290 km/h of top speed.
If you don't want to explore these records, Bentley says that with moderate driving it is possible to “remove” around 654 kilometers from the depot.

To combine with the most refined dynamics, Bentley also proposes several visual novelties that distinguish this Bentayga S from the other brothers.
On the outside, there are the side mirrors in black, the darkened headlamps, the more generous spoiler that helps to extend the roofline and the oval split tailpipes.
In the passenger compartment, the badge representing this version stands out — identified by an “S” — which is present on the seats and dashboard, the illuminated door sills and the new graphics on the instrument panel.
Bentley has not yet confirmed the date of sale of this model or the prices for the domestic market.
