The first all-electric Bentley in history arrived at the hands of Lunaz, a British company dedicated to converting classic combustion cars into models powered exclusively by electrons.

It is a Bentley S2 Continental Flying Spur launched in 1961 and now given new life by this company based in Silverstone, the scene of the historic British Formula 1 Grand Prix.

Lunaz already has a vast portfolio of classic cars, with an imposing appearance, but which hide completely emission-free mechanics. However, this is the first time the company has applied its technology to a model from the Crewe brand.

For many, this transformation may even be seen as a true sacrilege, but Lunaz, oblivious to it all, promises a luxurious car with the latest technologies, all without altering the elegant lines that characterize this Bentley.

The conversion is not limited to the Flying Spur, it can also be ordered in the coupé version and in three different generations: S1, S2 and S3.

Decorated with a two-tone paint job that combines two tones of metallic green, this Bentley also saw the cabin take on a new lease of life, with leather finishes in the same color scheme as the exterior, new wood accents on the dashboard and on the panels. doors and “perks” like Apple CarPlay or automatic air conditioning.

But it's what's hidden under the bodywork that stands out the most, as the 6.25 l V8 petrol block that fitted the original model has been replaced by an electric powertrain capable of producing the equivalent of 375 hp and 700 Nm of maximum torque.

This electric motor can be associated with an 80 kWh or 120 kWh battery, and customers who opt for a higher capacity battery will be able to travel up to 400 km on a single charge.

This transformation makes this Bentley S2 Continental Flying Spur a future-proof classic, but comes at a price point that puts it only within reach of well-stocked wallets: 350,000 pounds, something like 405 000 EUR.
