After the "normal" Bentayga, it was the turn of the Bentley Bentayga Speed to be renewed, starting to have an updated look and more consistent with the rest of the range of the British brand.
Identical to the other Bentayga, the Bentayga Speed received a series of specific details to accentuate the sporty character of the “fastest SUV in the world”. That's why it received darkened headlights, body-colored side skirts, specific bumpers and a larger rear spoiler. Also on the outside, the Bentley Bentayga Speed has generous 22” wheels.
Inside, the sportiest of the Bentayga has received the new infotainment system with a 10.9” screen and a fully digital instrument panel, which can be customized. Finally, if customers so choose, the Bentayga Speed can be finished in Alcantara.

As expected, the “fastest SUV” in the world did not change engines in this renovation. Thus, under the bonnet of the Bentayga Speed, a massive and unique 6.0 l, W12 with 635 hp and 900 Nm.

Combined with an eight-speed automatic transmission, this thruster allows you to reach 100 km/h in just 3.9s and reach the 306 km/h top speed — value that guarantees the title of the fastest SUV in the world, surpassing by 1 km/h the “cousin” Lamborghini Urus.
… and ecological?!
Despite its focus on performance, the Bentley Bentayga Speed is (as far as possible) a responsible model in the environmental chapter. Like? Simply thanks to a cylinder deactivation system that, as the need arises, shuts down a total of six (!) of the twelve cylinders in the W12 used by the British SUV.
According to Bentley, this system is able to alternate between turning off the banks of cylinders A and B according to information transmitted by the exhaust sensors, all to reduce the cooling of the cylinders and the catalyst and thus avoid peak emissions.
Where will it be sold?
If until now the fastest SUV in the world could be bought on European soil, with this renovation that has changed. Bentley thus confirms the “reform” of the W12 in Europe, something that we had already advanced when presenting the “normal” Bentayga.
As such, the revamped Bentley Bentayga Speed will only be available in the US, Middle East and Asia. As for its price in these markets, that remains to be seen.
