The Alpine Vision Gran Turismo was unveiled a few days ago and promises to be one of the most interesting Vision GT prototypes to date. The full-scale version was presented to the public at the Automobile International Festival in Paris, on the 27th of January.

After a series of teaser footage has been released over the past few weeks, Alpine Mink Gran Turismo has been officially unveiled as the latest member of the Vision Gran Turismo prototype project. The design of Alpine Vision Gran Turismo began in July 2013 in a collaboration between Polyphony Digital and Alpine's design studio. According to Alpine Executive Chairman Bernard Ollivier, “Alpine Vision Gran Turismo is the result of the collective imagination of the designers and engineers responsible for the prototype.”

Outwardly, the Alpine Vision Gran Turismo is as 'old' as it is new. Influenced by some of Alpine's historic models, as well as recently released prototypes, the design of the Alpine Vision Gran Turismo most likely stands out as one of the most interesting of the Vision Gran Turismo project. From the carbon fiber monocoque chassis, through the only right-hand drive seat, to the front and rear LED headlights, details that nicely complement the Alpine Vision Gran Turismo, making it a kind of «tribute» to the past, a « showcase” of what may come in the future.
