From Portugal to the world. In the latest Porsche Classic promotional video there are two Portuguese protagonists: Jorge Nunes and André Nunes, the faces of SportClasse , one of the leading Porsche restoration workshops in Europe.
In a video that appeals to feeling, emotion and dreams, it is easy to see the presence of Portugal and SportClasse, whose history goes back long before its foundation, in 1994.
It all started in the 60s, when Américo Nunes (1928-2015), bought a damaged Porsche 356, which he would eventually restore with his own hands and take it to the races. He won nine national titles in speed and rally.
Known as “Mr Porsche”, Américo Nunes remained faithful to the Stuttgart brand until the end of his long career as a driver. And this legacy lives on through the hand of his son, Jorge, and his grandson, André. In total, three generations have been dedicated to Porsche for over 50 years. A weighty legacy that is still alive and in very good health, on Rua Maria Pia, Campo de Ourique, Lisbon.
And now it has been immortalized by Porsche Classic in a video capable of making any “petrolhead” goose bump.
The SportClasse 356 Outlaw
In this new Porsche Classic movie we can see a very special 356 in action, the SportClasse 356 Outlaw, a fantastic machine at all levels, which we have seen (Car Ratio) “grow” over the course of two years. From its arrival, still as a 1955 pre-A Porsche 356, which had seen better days, to its recovery and transformation as a much more “rebellious” 356.
Razão Automóvel has its premises in the same space where SportClasse brings Porsche of other times to life, either to recover its original shine or to elevate it to another level — the 356 Outlaw is one of those cases.
