After a few months ago a Subaru Impreza 22B STi appeared on sale for an already impressive £99,995 (around 116,500 euros), today we bring you an even more expensive example of the rare Japanese model.
Imported from Japan to the UK in 1998, since then the Impreza 22B STi we told you about accumulated only… 436 km ! Completely original, this rare Subaru has spent most of its life in a garage, had only one owner and still has the plastic protection for the seats.
Well, perhaps motivated by the immaculate condition of this Subaru Impreza 22B STi, Appreciating Classics, the company responsible for selling it, is asking for no less than 295,000 pounds, in other words, around 324 350 euros!
The Subaru Impreza 22B STi
Derived from the coupé body of the Impreza, the Impreza 22B STi was 80mm wider, came with 17” wheels instead of 16”, featured bumpers inspired by those used by the Impreza WRCs, an adjustable rear wing and even a bonnet and specific mudguards.

Limited to 424 units (400 for Japan, 16 for the UK, five for Australia and three prototypes), the Subaru Impreza 22B STi came equipped with a boxer four-cylinder 2.2 l (the EJ22), 280 hp and 363 Nm which were sent to all four wheels via a five-speed manual gearbox with a double disc clutch.
With Bilstein suspension, an improved braking system with STi features and just 1270 kg, the Impreza 22B STi fulfilled 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.3s and reached a top speed of 248 km/h.
