Hyundai Ioniq Hybrid: Root Hybrid

Anonim

The Hyundai Ioniq Hybrid is Hyundai's new commitment to the hybrid car class, designed and conceived from scratch to receive this driving technology. It combines a 105 hp 1.6 GDi thermal booster with a 32 kW permanent magnet synchronous motor.

A new addition to the class is the combination of a six-speed dual-clutch gearbox, which makes the throttle more responsive. The driver also has two driving modes at his disposal: Eco and Sport.

The combined output is 104 kW of power, the equivalent of 141 hp, with a maximum torque of 265 Nm, which allows the Ioniq to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 10.8 seconds and reach 185 km/h. Most importantly, the announced consumptions are just 3.9 l/100 km and the combined CO2 emissions of 92 g/km.

The system is supported by a lithium-ion battery, with a capacity of 1.56 kWh, located under the rear seats to favor an even weight distribution per axle without harming the interior space.

With dimensions of 4.4 m in length and a wheelbase of 2700 mm, habitability is one of the strengths of the Hyundai Ioniq Hybrid, along with the luggage capacity, which is 550 litres.

The Korean brand's creatives focused much of their work on an attractive and fluid design, in order to favor the aerodynamic profile, having obtained a drag coefficient of 0.24.

The Hyundai Ioniq Hybrid is built on a Hyundai Group platform exclusive to hybrid vehicles, using high-strength steel in the structure, adhesive in place of welding in certain areas of the coke and aluminum for the hood, tailgate and chassis components in order to reduce weight without sacrificing rigidity. On the scale, the Hyundai Ioniq Hybrid weighs 1,477 kg.

In the field of technology, the Hyundai Ioniq Hybrid features the latest developments in driving support, such as LKAS lane maintenance, SCC intelligent cruise control, AEB autonomous emergency braking and TPMS tire pressure monitoring system.

Since 2015, Razão Automóvel has been part of the panel of judges for the Essilor Car of the Year/Crystal Wheel Trophy award.

The version that Hyundai is submitting to competition in the Essilor Car of the Year / Crystal Steering Wheel Trophy, Hyundai Ioniq Hybrid Tech, also offers a 7” color instrumentation panel, two-zone automatic climate control, keyless access and ignition, xenon headlights, 8” touchscreen navigation, Infinity audio system with 8 speakers + subwoofer, multimedia system with Apple Car Play and Android Auto technology, and wireless charging for smartphones.

The Hyundai Ioniq Hybrid Tech makes its debut on the national market with a price of €33 000, with a general warranty of 5 years without limit on kilometers and 8 years/200 thousand km for the battery.

In addition to the Essilor Car of the Year/Crystal Wheel Trophy, the Hyundai Ioniq Hybrid Tech is also competing in the Ecological Class of the Year, where it will face the Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV and the Volkswagen Passat Variant GTE.
