Cold Start. Pininfarina Leggenda eClassic. This simulator costs more than a BMW M3

Responsible for the design of some of the most iconic Ferraris ever, the Pininfarina studio has just launched — in partnership with experts from The Classic Car Trust — the Leggenda eClassic simulator, which promises to replicate the thrill of driving a classic.

Inspired by the Cisitalia 202, a Gran Turismo designed by Pininfarina in the 1940s, this simulator presents a level of detail and luxury that impresses, starting with the “Connolly” leather upholstery, in the color “Marrone Tobacco”.

Then there is also the Nardi wooden steering wheel, the manual gearshift lever and the Hanhart stopwatch integrated in the dashboard.

Behind the steering wheel, a curved screen promises to ensure the user an immersive simulation experience, which can pass through iconic circuits like Spa, Brands Hatch or Nürburgring and cars like the Porsche 911 or Shelby Cobra.

The Pininfarina Leggenda eClassic has a production limited to just nine units and the first will be sold at auction by RM Sotheby’s on September 17th, in St. Moritz, Switzerland.

RM Sotheby’s estimates that this simulator is sold for a price between 110,000 and 140,000 euros, a price that would be enough to buy, for example, a new BMW M3.
