Citroën Ami arrives in September and already has prices

Anonim

Revealed about a year ago, the Citron Ami is about to hit the Portuguese market, claiming for itself the title of “cheapest four-wheeled tram on the market”.

We say “four-wheel electric” and not electric car for the simple fact that the Ami is classified as a light quadricycle, and therefore can be driven by young people aged 16 and over, with a B1 category driving license being sufficient. Thus, the title of cheapest electric car remains with Dacia Spring Electric.

Powering the small 6 kW (or 8.2 hp) engine of the Citroën Ami is a lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 5.5 kWh, which gives it a range of around 70 km. Charging can be done in just three hours from a 220V household outlet and the maximum speed is 45 km/h.
