As a way to demonstrate the viability of this bet, Volvo has just unveiled a special version of the XC60 T8 plug-in hybrid, in which, despite looking identical to the current model, several of the plastic components were replaced by equivalent materials, but of a similar nature recycled.
At the same time, the Swedish brand warns of the need for car manufacturers to work more closely with their suppliers, so that it is possible to develop components that are as sustainable as possible, especially those that use recycled plastic.
