This year's edition of expoMECÂNICA is confirmed for the 15th, 16th and 17th of October, at EXPONOR — Porto International Fair, and already has 212 confirmed exhibitors, 50 of which are foreigners, from eight different countries.

This event marks the return of the automotive aftermarket sector fairs in Portugal and, according to José Manuel Costa, director of Kikai Eventos, the organizer of yet another edition of the event, conveys a message of “the sector's resilience and vitality”.

According to the organization, the 7th Auto Equipment, Services and Parts Salon will be a “safe place to visit and do business”, and will be spread across three EXPONOR pavilions, with an approximate area of 16 000 m2.

Despite a long period of uncertainty, we always continued to work on the seventh edition of the fair. We want to present more and the best to our exhibitors, giving back the trust they have always placed in us. We want to be an inspiration for the events sector to safely return to normalcy.

Sónia Rodrigues, the commercial director of expoMECÂNICA

Participation has been very positive, but the organization believes that the number of participations will still increase, approaching the 225 exhibitors from the previous event.

In the areas of training and debate, the fair will continue to offer visitors its most emblematic initiatives (DEMOTEC by CEPRA, the Expotalks lecture cycle and Plateau TV), but there are novelties, including the new Eina Training program , an on-site technical training model that will feature real-life scenarios, diagnoses and repairs.

Mini-trainings will be carried out, lasting around 30 minutes, in a vehicle prepared for the purpose, in which malfunctions will be caused to simulate practices and expose the subject to be treated.

In addition to this, the Exhibition of Miniatures and Classics will be present again for the third time.
