The Toyota C-HR also receives the GR Sport treatment . And by now, we all know that this is a line of equipment that gives Toyotas a sportier image — it's not a beefier version of the successful Japanese crossover at all.
The C-HR GR Sport is only available on the most powerful of the CH-Rs, that is, the one equipped with the 2.0 Hybrid Dynamic Force 184hp.
It distinguishes itself from the other C-HR, from the outset, by the presence of 19″ wheels of exclusive design surrounded by new Continental Premium Contact 6 with 225/45 measures.
Toyota says the new tire is lighter than the previous 18″, and is capable of offering the same rolling resistance and similar CO2 emissions. Also regarding the addition of new tires and their effect on the model's dynamics, the Japanese brand says it has made adjustments to the steering and suspension of the C-HR GR Sport, resulting in greater grip and less understeer.
What else changes?
On the outside, in addition to the new 19″ wheels, the C-HR GR Sport shows an exclusive decoration, where the front bumpers, side moldings, wheel arches and fog lamp frame are now in Piano Black. You can also see the lower grille in dark chrome and a new front spoiler.
Inside, the highlights are the new exclusive seats in Alcantara/Leather and the perforated leather steering wheel. Also noteworthy is the start button with the GR Sport logo and a decorative line in light gray.
More equipment
The new Toyota C-HR GR Sport assumes itself as the top of the model range, bringing, therefore, a complete list of equipment. Among the items that make it up we find the intelligent entrance system (Smart-Entry and Start), the tinted windows, the LED headlights, the electric rearview mirrors and the JBL audio system. Also noteworthy are the heated front seats and, for the driver, an electrically adjustable seat.

The latest version of the Toyota Safety Sense becomes part not only of the new version, but of the entire C-HR 2021 range, which includes the addition to the Pre-Collision System (PCS) of Intelligent Driving Assistance and Adaptive Cruise Control Intelligent. Also, all C-HRs are now equipped with Traffic Signal Recognition and High Lights with Automatic Control.
