Cold Start. Re:Move. Polestar's electric tricycle capable of carrying 180 kg

Anonim

Polestar confirmed at the 2021 Munich Motor Show that it will expand its presence in 30 global markets by the end of next year, but the announcement that aroused the most interest was another, in the form of a three-wheeled electric scooter, called Re: Move.

Still in the prototype stage, it is a small, all-electric, multifunctional means of transport, which Polestar believes to be perfect for delivery services, namely for “last mile” (last mile) services, in other words, very short distances.

Capable of carrying up to 180 kg, this electric tricycle is 750 mm wide, allowing it to travel on bicycle lanes, and has a limited top speed of 25 km/h.

Polestar Re:Move1

Polestar did not reveal the autonomy of the Re:Move, but confirmed that the electrical system is powered by a battery with a 2.2 kWh capacity.

The chassis is constructed of aluminum and has a tilt mechanism to help you make turns. Also noteworthy are the disc brakes, lights, indicators for changing lanes (optional) and, of course, the horn, always important to “navigate” the busy streets of cities.

The prototype that Polestar took to the 2021 Munich Motor Show is fully functional, but we still don't know if it will evolve into a marketable product.
