The Lexus LC 500 — in the LC 500 Inspiration Series version — was the inspiration for the creation of a special edition of the Fender Stratocaster, which is, very likely, the most famous guitar in the world.
Painted in Structural Blue, which changes its shade of blue according to the incidence of light, this guitar also features carbon accents that contrast with the oak neck.
“As a big car enthusiast, this was a really fun project to build,” said Ron Thorn, Fender's principal master builder. “We were daring with the technical specs to turn this product into a true Lexus guitar,” he snapped.
Vinay Shahani, vice president of marketing at Lexus, said: "When we saw this Stratocaster variant we couldn't believe how well it matched the LC 500 Inspiration Series."
With a production limited to 100 copies, the Fender Lexus LC Stratocaster is already on sale in the United States of America for 6000 dollars, about 5100 euros.
