After reaching the market with only one front-wheel drive version, the EQA 250, the Mercedes-Benz EQA will now receive two new variants.

Named EQA 300 4MATIC and EQA 350 4MATIC, they use two electric motors (one on the front and one on the rear) which give them all-wheel drive.

The EQA 300 4MATIC delivers 168 kW (228 hp) of power and 390 Nm of torque. In the EQA 350 4MATIC, the combined power of the two engines rises to 215 kW (292 hp) and the torque is fixed at 520 Nm.

The new versions have one more engine on the rear axle that gives them all-wheel drive.

In terms of performance, the 300 4MATIC version accelerates to 100 km/h in 7.7s, while the 350 4MATIC fulfills the traditional acceleration in just 6s. The maximum speed is limited to 160 km/h.

And the battery?

In both versions the battery has 66.5 kWh, allowing the EQA 300 4MATIC a range of 400 to 426 kilometers and in the EQA 350 4MATIC between 409 and 432 kilometers.

Taking into account the “top of the range” role that these two versions play in the Mercedes-Benz EQA range, it is no wonder that they are presented with LED headlights, electric tailgate, 19” wheels, among other “luxuries” .

Still without official prices for Portugal, the latest additions to the range already have prices for Germany. There, the EQA 300 4MATIC starts at €53 538 and the EQA 350 4MATIC at €56,216, both of which are already available for order in that market.
