And it was precisely this stand that sold it to Mechatronik, one of the most prestigious classic car dealers in Germany, which has now put it up for sale for 49,500 euros.
Equipped with the 2.3 liter four-cylinder gasoline engine with 132 hp that was standard, this 230 E has an electric sun roof and a self-locking rear differential, but curiously it has no current “perks”, such as for example air-conditioning system.
But everything is immaculate, both outside and inside, which has been meticulously maintained over all these years. The result is one of the most special Mercedes-Benz W124s on the market, and for that reason it shouldn't take long to find a new home.
