Mercedes-AMG is finalizing the development of the new C 63 Station van, which has just been “picked up” outside the Affalterbach brand's headquarters on the mythical Nürburgring.

Despite being covered in dense camouflage, it is already possible to anticipate almost every visual aspect of this “super van”, which has a Panamerican front grille and more generous air intakes in the front bumper.

In profile, the wider wheel arches and huge wheels stand out. At the back, the very prominent air diffuser and the imposing four exhaust outlets stand out.

This aggressive aesthetic will also be noticed in the cabin, which will feature a mix of leather, Alcantara and carbon fiber.

AMG E Performance System

This will be the second model with the AMG signature to be equipped with the new AMG E Performance hybrid system, which combines a 2.0-litre petrol block — with an electric turbocharger — with an electric motor, for a maximum combined power of 544 hp.

This system — which will be associated with a nine-speed automatic transmission and the 4MATIC+ all-wheel drive system — will also have a 4.8 kWh battery that will be able to provide an all-electric range of 25 kilometers.

If these numbers are confirmed, the Mercedes-AMG C 63 Station van will present itself with a power slightly higher than the first BMW M3 Touring, which should reach the market in 2022 with 510 hp in the Competition version.

When arrives?

Mercedes-AMG has not yet confirmed the date of presentation of the C 63 Station, but it is expected that the revelation to the world will take place later this year.
