Raise the bar. This Mercedes-AMG C63 Station has 700 hp of power

Anonim

Already one of the most powerful and breathtaking vans on the market, the Mercedes-AMG C63 Station Wagon now has even more reasons to captivate. All, thanks to a new kit developed by the German preparer VÄTH, which, by making the power offered by the 4.0 liter V8 rise to 700 hp (!), manages to make this van a rival (almost) at the level of the Porsche 911 GT2 RS!

Originally announcing “only” 510 hp and 700 Nm of torque, the C63 sees its firepower increase by almost 200 horsepower, while the torque rises to a no less impressive 900 Nm. All together, figures which allow you, for example, to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in no more than 3.3 seconds, in other words, eight tenths of a second less than the standard version, in addition to guaranteeing an advertised top speed of 340 km/h . That is, a value identical to that achieved by a 911 GT2 RS.

Power… but not only!

However, the truth is that the preparation made by VÄTH may not be limited, just and only, to a pure and simple increase in potency. It can also include the installation of a new tailor-made exhaust system, in addition to a kit that combines a lower and firmer suspension, an improved braking system and 20” wheels with Continental tyres.

To improve the Mercedes-AMG C63's decor and aerodynamics, there is also a carbon pack, which basically consists of a front spoiler and rear diffuser, to which it will be possible to add, further ahead, another spoiler, to place on the top of the rear window. But that, at the moment, is still under development.

With so many and so good arguments, it only remains to talk about money. Just for the power kit, you have to pay 12 thousand euros. Value to which later must be added the 3440 euros for the exhaust system, in addition to the 3050 euros for the package that includes the suspension, brakes, rims and tires.
