Volkswagen T-Roc R with 300 hp. The Hot SUV with a Portuguese accent

Volkswagen took to the 2019 Geneva Motor Show, the T-Roc R , the most hardcore version of the SUV built in Palmela, Portugal. Initially advertised as a prototype, on the Swiss stage it was already presented as a production model.

In our video the Diogo explains the differences to a conventional T-Roc and presents all the numbers that characterize the new German Hot SUV.

On the outside, we highlight the aesthetic differences, such as the bumpers or the optional 19″ wheels (18″ as standard), and on the inside we can see the new sportier-cut seats, among other stylistic details.

But the highlight, of course, is under the bonnet, with the new Volkswagen T-Roc R on offer 300 hp power , extracted from the 2.0 l TSI tetra-cylindrical block — the same one we can find in the group's other Hot SUV, the CUPRA Atheque.

To put all the power to the ground, the T-Roc R uses a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox and the 4MOTION system, which guarantees four-wheel drive. Helps to justify the excellent 4.9s on classic 0-100 km/h . Top speed is electronically limited to 250 km/h.

The new Volkswagen T-Roc R will arrive in the last quarter of the year.
