Subaru posted on Twitter and Instagram the image of a rear wing with the STi brand, which anticipates news for the Subaru BRZ. What news?

Is it just a line of STi accessories for the model, or is it the much-anticipated Subaru BRZ STi? In the past, the brand “left in the air” the chance to launch a more powerful version with the STi signature. Just look at the 2015 prototype below, gloriously inflated and advertised with 300 horsepower. But since the launch of the BRZ, five years have passed, a restyling and so far nothing more performance for the coupé.
If there's one complaint we can make to the Subaru BRZ and, by extension, the Toyota GT86, it's the lack of a more powerful version.
Around here, we're hardcore enthusiasts of a good naturally aspirated engine, but the 2.0-litre boxer four-cylinder that powers the BRZ and GT86 shouldn't be alone. The 205 hp of the latest version allows for a decent level of performance, but some vitamin is still lacking.
Customers and fans have already clamored for a turbo or a higher capacity engine. Is this where our longings will be heard? We won't have to wait long for the answer, since, as the Twitter post points out, on June 8th the mystery will be revealed.
