In total, two teasers were released — a video and a photograph — and in these we can confirm some of the changes that the SEAT models were subject to.

To start with, both will feature the new lettering we already know from Tarraco, Leon and Ateca. In addition, they will adopt a look closer to the rest of the range, with special emphasis on the changes to the front of the Arona.

In addition to receiving a new bumper, the Spanish SUV will feature two fog lights located just below the main headlights, a solution that gives it a more adventurous look and that brings to mind… the Skoda Yeti.

Although SEAT claims that it operated a “revolution within its models”, the truth is that the Spanish brand has not revealed much of what has changed there.

According to the Spanish brand, the revised SEAT Ibiza and Arona have “greater intuition, functionality and quality felt in the interior, achieved through an improved design language and higher levels of technology”.

According to Carscoops, this should translate into a redesigned dashboard and, above all, into a new infotainment system with a larger screen.

Regarding the two models, Wayne Griffiths, President of SEAT and CUPRA said: “The SEAT Ibiza has been a cornerstone of the brand's success, with nearly six million vehicles sold over its five generations, while the SEAT Arona is a clear pillar in the range, being the 2nd best-selling SEAT model last year”.
