Did you already know the pick-up version of Dacia Duster?

Anonim

you always liked the Dacia Duster But do you need to carry big loads, straw bales or do you just like to throw your bike into a pickup's cargo box without having to worry? Don't despair, a company in Romania has answered your prayers and created a pick-up truck based on the new generation of Dacia Duster.

The Romanian company, which goes by the name Romturingia, had already in 2014 created a pick-up version of the popular SUV, at the time limited to 500 units. With the arrival of the new generation, the company decided to return to the charge keeping the ingredients of its first transformation.

Seen from the front, it's just like the Duster you can already find on the street. You have to go back behind the front doors to find the differences and then we see that the back doors and seats have given way to a cargo box covered with shock-resistant material ready to carry whatever you want.

Can you buy it?

Well… for now, the Romanian company has not yet revealed the plans for its new creation, but the most likely is that it will only produce the Duster pick-up in small quantities and only destined for the domestic market, so it is unlikely that let's see this version on our roads. Underneath the more practical clothing is the all-wheel drive system used in the series Duster and animating this version is the 1.5 dCi of 109 hp.

Dacia Duster pick-up

The second-generation pick-up version of the Dacia Duster maintains the recipe used in the first transformation, removing the doors and roof from the rear doors and creating a cargo box. It cannot be said that the end result was bad.

This isn't the first time we've seen a pickup truck with the Romanian brand symbol. In addition to this transformation and the one that had been made to the previous generation of Dacia Duster, a few years ago the Renault subsidiary brand had the Logan pick-up in its catalog (which was even sold here) and the Latin American markets arrived to receive the official version of the Duster pick-up, but with the Renault symbol and the name Duster Oroch.

Nowadays, the Dacia Dokker Pick-up is on sale in some European markets, as you can see below.
