Volkswagen Tiguan is the best-selling SUV of the German brand and one of the best sellers in Europe. In Portugal, the German brand wants to reinforce the model's commercial performance with the launch of the Tech version.
This version is exclusively associated with the 1.6 TDI engine, with front-wheel drive and six-speed manual gearbox. The engine delivers 115 hp available between 2900 and 4000 rpm and 280 Nm between 1700 and 2900 rpm. Numbers that allow the Tiguan to reach 100 km/h in 10.9 seconds and reach 185 km/h of top speed.
Official consumption and emissions are 4.8 l/100 km and 125 g/km respectively.
It is at the equipment level that the new Volkswagen Tiguan Tech stands out, bringing the App Connect as standard . But the list doesn't end here. This version also features as standard with metallic or pearlescent paintwork, 17-inch Montana wheels (215/65 R17 tires), LED taillights, black window frames and “Diamond Silver” decorative inserts.
Inside we find a front armrest, multifunction leather steering wheel and upholstery in “Microdots” fabric.
Among other equipment we have a rain sensor, automatic lights, electric and heated rearview mirrors, cruise control, tire pressure sensor and front and rear parking sensors. When it comes to safety equipment, the Tiguan Tech comes as standard with ESC – electronic stability control program, with brake assistance, curtain airbags (front and rear), front side airbags, Front Assist and Lane Assist systems, as well as fatigue detection system and fog lights.
