The fact is that as electrification goes from being a simple goal to becoming a reality, competition has multiplied and ahead the ID.4 has models such as the Mercedes-Benz EQA, the Tesla Model Y, the Kia e-Niro and even his “cousin”, the Skoda Enyaq iV.
easy coexistence
As Guilherme Costa tells us throughout the video, the Volkswagen ID.4 takes advantage of the fact that it uses a dedicated platform for trams to establish itself as an interesting family proposition.
It doesn't lack space for passengers and as far as the trunk is concerned, we have a very interesting 543 liters of capacity.
In the field of mechanics, the unit that Guilherme tested had the highest capacity battery, with 77 kWh, and an engine with 204 hp and 310 Nm that allows it to accelerate to 100 km/h in just 8.5s.
As for autonomy, values in the “real world” are not far from those advertised (which vary between 360 and 520 km). In the city, Guilherme achieved averages of 15 kWh/100 km and an autonomy of 480 km while on the highway, and without major concerns, this was fixed at 350 km.
Finally, the price. The unit tested consisted of the 1st launch series, whose price starts at 45 200 euros. However, the price of the ID.4 that Guilherme tested was close to 47 000 euros due to some options.
