After hosting the final of the C1 Academy Razão Automóvel 2021 last weekend, the Vasco Sameiro circuit in Braga welcomes, this weekend, the first race of the 2021 season of the C1 Learn & Drive Trophy.

So, after a break of a few months, racing with the little Citroën C1 is back. The opening competition of this third season will feature 33 teams at the start.

About this first race, André Marques, responsible for Motor Sponsor, said: “The next race weekend in Braga has a tremendous meaning for Motor Sponsor, for the C1 Trophy and for the Single Seater Series. The last year was difficult and extremely challenging. Despite having managed to run races in the middle of the pandemic, we had to fight the uncertainty caused by the virus”.

To this he added: “Despite everything, we have worked tirelessly to get competition back on track in 2021 and that is about to happen. The numbers of participants are, for this reality, excellent. It is the starting point for a year that, we believe, can be very positive”.
