Rua Maria Pia, in Lisbon, was once again the chosen address for Razão Automóvel's annual event. This has been the case in recent years, but in 2022 it will be different.
Before an audience of more than 80 guests — made up of representatives of institutions, brands, agencies and partners — Guilherme Costa and Diogo Teixeira, founders of Razão Automóvel, announced important news regarding the physical and virtual address of Razão Automóvel.
“Our website is being profoundly reformulated and our team will open a new headquarters”, stated Diogo Teixeira.
With more than 20 million page views per year, Razão Automóvel's website is an outstanding leader among specialized media. A leadership that extends to all platforms on which the title is present: Instagram, Facebook and YouTube.
“We believe that not only is there room for progression, but it is essential that we continue to offer new features and formats to our readers,” said Diogo Teixeira, publisher and founder of Razão Automóvel.
The “physical” address of Razão Automóvel will also have important news. “We are building the largest AUTO content hub in the country,” said Guilherme Costa, director and founder of Razão Automóvel. “Two studios developed from scratch, ability to livestream events, a brand new newsroom. This is the biggest transformation in our history”, he finished.
In 2022 Razão Automóvel celebrates 10 years of existence and “all these news anticipate our strategy for the next decade: more multimedia content, from video to podcast and new formats that will be a first in Portugal”. We want to be where our readers are”, stated Diogo Teixeira.
In addition to the focus on content production, the new headquarters of Razão Automóvel, whose architectural design was developed by DIRETRIZ, is also concerned with sustainability. “We want to accompany the automotive sector in this energy transition. The new building will have a charging station for trams, solar panels and various solutions to increase the energy efficiency of our daily activities”, said Guilherme Costa.
Finally, Diogo Teixeira recalled that despite the “huge challenges that the sector has faced in the last two years, the balance is very positive. These results allow us to face the next year with optimism. We cannot postpone the future, it is our responsibility to prepare it”.
In addition to those responsible for the sector — brands, agencies and partners — the Razão Automóvel event also had the institutional presence of the Portuguese Air Force, the National Republican Guard and the Public Security Police.
