Placed between the Macan S and the Macan Turbo, the Porsche Macan GTS comes to complete the range of the German SUV, presenting itself as a refined sports version, but a little less “radical” than the Turbo.
Compared to other Macan, the GTS stands out for adopting some exclusive stylistic details, many of them courtesy of the Sport Design package offered as standard. At the front, the highlight goes to the black details that range from the bumpers to the darkened LED headlights.
At the rear, the details in black continue to be noticed, with the diffuser and the exhausts appearing painted in this color. From an aesthetic point of view, the 20” RS Spyder Design wheels also stand out, the brake calipers in red and the moldings in glossy black.
Inside, the biggest highlight has to be given to the sports seats, exclusive to the Macan GTS. There we also find great use of Alcantara and brushed aluminum finishes, all to increase the sporty feeling on board the German SUV.
Porsche Macan GTS numbers
Compared to the previous Macan GTS, the new one comes with 20 hp more power and 20 Nm more torque. in total are 380 hp and 520 Nm (Available from 1750 rpm up to 5000 rpm). These are taken from the same 2.9 l, V6, biturbo that equips the Macan Turbo, which adds 60 hp, delivering 440 hp.

Combined with the seven-speed dual-clutch PDK gearbox, and when equipped with the optional Sport Chrono Package, the new Macan GTS only needs 4.7s to reach 100 km/h and reach a top speed of 261 km/h.
Consumption, according to Porshe, is between 11.4 and 12 l/100 km, according to the WLTP cycle.
The dynamic has not been forgotten
On a dynamic level, Porsche has lowered the Macan GTS by 15 mm and offered a special tuning to the suspension damping control system, Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM).
As an option, the Macan GTS can also have pneumatic suspension that allows it to be even 10 mm lower.
In terms of braking, the Macan GTS comes with 360×36 mm discs at the front and 330×22 mm at the rear. Optionally, the Macan GTS can also be equipped with Porsche Surface Coated Brake (PSCB) or Porsche Ceramic Composite Brake (PCCB) brakes.

Now available for order in Portugal, the new Porsche Macan GTS is available from 111,203 euros.
