More power, an improved chassis and enhanced braking ability were the changes imposed to produce the sportiest Macan ever. In terms of power, the 360hp of the 3.0 V6 twin-turbo engine puts it between the Macan S and the Macan Turbo. This power is digested by the Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK) gearbox and the Porsche Traction Management (PTM) with vectorial power distribution across the four wheels.
Because power isn't everything, the most profound changes were made in terms of dynamics. The suspensions of the Macan GTS adopt a sportier tuning plus the Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) system, along with 20-inch wheels in a matte black finish.
The Macan GTS can be recognized at first glance by its black exterior details – with a glossy finish above the waistline and a matte finish on the undersides of the body – and by a special version of the Sport Design Package, also in a GTS-specific colour, offered as standard.
To accompany the more “racing” look of this version, we also find GTS sports seats as well as a sports exhaust. The Macan GTS is now available for sale with prices starting at 96,548 euros.
