Based on the iconic Manta A (the first generation of the German coupé), the Opel Blanket GSe ElektroMOD it is, in addition to a restomod, a kind of mobile showcase for the German brand.
After all, it was Manta GSe ElektroMOD that had the “responsibility” to make known the latest version of the “Opel Vizor” concept, which was debuted by Mokka and adapted to Crossland.
Named “Opel Pixel-Vizor”, this allows the Manta GSe ElektroMOD to “communicate”, since in this “grid” several messages can appear such as the expression “My German heart has been ELEKTRified” (My German heart was “electrified”) ; “I am on a zero e-mission” (I am on a “zero e-mission”) or “I am an ElektroMOD” (I am a “modified electric”).
Furthermore, on that “screen” the silhouette of a blanket (the iconic symbol of the blanket that was transformed into a QR Code) and the logo of the brand are projected. However, the best thing is to show you the final result:

Described by Opel Design Director Pierre-Olivier Garcia as “a bridge between the great Opel tradition and a highly desirable sustainable future”, in his words the “Manta GSe ElektroMOD is the work of a passionate group of 'designers', 3D modelers, engineers, technicians, mechanics and product and brand specialists”.

For now, Opel's latest creation is still being put to the test, with its unveiling scheduled for the 19th of May.
Despite having revealed more images of the Manta GSe, Opel still does not reveal any details about the electric motorization that will “animate” this project, but it has already confirmed that the instrument panel will also be fully digital.
