Some time ago we showed you how to Schaeffler 4e Performance Concept , a heavily modified Audi RS3 sedan, managed to beat a Porsche 911 GT2 RS in a drag race while racing… in reverse. This time this model was not known for a drag race, but for making spins.
Giving life to this authentic electric “monster” are four engines of the ABT Schaeffler FE01, the single-seater of the Audi Sport ABT team, which together deliver 1196 hp (880 kW) and also two batteries with a combined capacity of 64 kWh.
Each engine appears associated with a wheel. And each pair of engines on each axle share the gearbox. Thanks to this, it is possible to carry out a selective torque vectoring that allows the front left wheel to be rotated forwards and the right rear wheel to the rear, thus allowing a practically perfect top.
