On May 11, and for the fourth time, the tracks in the interior of the country were covered by another Matos & Prata – Event X . Unlike what happened in 2018, this year the event lasted only one day, but that didn't lack strong emotions.
In the year that celebrates its 50th anniversary, the BMW dealership in Beira Interior, Matos & Prata, joined the Clube Escape Livre to take to the road the fourth edition of Event X, organized by the Guarda club, in an event that walked the trails of Serra da Estrela.
The caravan, made up of 30 BMW models (from X1 to X6), covered several trails in Serra da Estrela, among which the demanding climbs between Cortes and Piornos, and between Corgas and Vide, in the municipality of Sean.
All terrain but not only
In addition to the traditional off-road emotions that are always associated with Escape Livre events, the 4th Matos & Prata – Event X also offered its participants various cultural activities.

Thus, the participants of the 4th Matos & Prata – Event X were able to visit the Snow Cleaning Center, in Piornos (where the Infrastructures of Portugal received the caravan), get to know the Bread Museum in Seia (the place where the lunch took place ) and still discover the new X7 which was presented at the Tortosendo concession after the closing dinner.

On the sidelines of the event, José Prata, director of Matos & Prata stressed: “For our company, it is important to make known the potential that the BMW brand has on off-road.
