Supplying power to the two electric motors is a Li-ion battery with 80 kWh which according to the German brand allows a range from 445 to 471 km (this still according to the NEDC cycle). Charging should take 40 minutes to recharge the battery up to 80%, this in an outlet with a maximum power of up to 110 kW.

In Germany, the EQC will have a price (with taxes) starting at 71,281 euros, that is, 8619 euros less than the Audi e-tron, which in that market sees prices start at 79,900 euros. In addition, the fact that the EQC costs less than 60,000 euros, before taxes, makes the SUV eligible for support for the purchase of trams in Germany.

In the base version, the EQC has the MBUX system with two 10.25” screens, voice commands and a navigation system.

Although the prices of the EQC in Portugal are not yet known, the most likely is that they do not vary much in relation to the values requested in Germany, since, in the case of trams, the only tax on the purchase is VAT . Now, this would lead to a price of the base version (if the value before tax is the same) close to 75 thousand euros.

In Portugal

Meanwhile, Mercedes-Benz revealed how much the new EQC will cost in Portugal. According to the German brand, the electric SUV should cost from 78,450 euros, offering a range (according to the WLTP cycle) of 417 kilometers.

With the delivery of the first units to customers in Portugal scheduled for the end of October 2019, the base version of the EQC in Portugal will feature a more complete level of equipment than in Germany. This will include Keyless Start Start, Signal Assistant, Lane Alert, Collision Prevent Assist, Cruise Control and Dynamic Select.
