We already know how much the new Kia XCeed costs and you can also pre-book it

The new Kia XCeed , the new crossover derived from Ceed, already has an arrival date in Portugal for the next month of October. For those who want to be the first to own an XCeed, Kia Portugal decided to proceed with a pre-reservation period before the model's arrival on the market, an unprecedented step in the brand's history in Portugal.

The decision is justified, according to Kia Portugal, by the high interest and requests for information they have received about XCeed.

Pre-booking can now be made on Kia's website in Portugal, with interested parties having to sign their order with a value of 1000 euros, which will later be deductible from the vehicle price — the first 100 to register will still earn a pair of Bang & Olufsen headphones, personalized with your name.

Engines

The new Kia XCeed will have three engines available on our market, two of them petrol and one diesel.

The most affordable gasoline engine is already known 1.0 T-GDI , the turbocharged three-cylinder 120 hp and 172 Nm; followed by the 1.4 T-GDI , four-cylinder and also turbocharged, with 140 hp and 242 Nm. On the Diesel side, the new XCeed will use the new Smartstream engine, the 1.6 CRDI , with 136 hp.

The 1.0 T-GDI is only available with a six-speed manual gearbox, unlike the 1.4 T-GDI and 1.6 CRDI, which are optionally available with a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox.
