New Dacia Logan MCV: Fair Price, Ample Space

Anonim

The new Dacia Logan MCV van is not lacking in attributes. The new proposal of the Renault Group brand is not only synonymous with low price, but also with space and comfort. Prices from €9,999.

“Outrageously accessible” is the motto of Dacia Duster's campaign but could also apply to Dacia Logan MCV. In a market where, by tradition, break models are quite popular, Dacia's new proposal brings together a set of assumptions that meet the interests of a large number of Portuguese: conservative but solid lines, an interesting level of equipment , a range of modern engines that have been proven in the rest of the Renault Group models. This in a package that is the most affordable in the B segment, but on a par with the C segment vans in terms of room capacity and luggage compartment volume.

In the design, the similarities with the new generation of the Sandero model are evident. Despite inheriting the base of a compact, the truth is that, at almost four and a half meters in length, the new Logan MCV breakline does not lack a visual identity of its own, with emphasis on the aesthetic bars on the roof.

But the big surprise is reserved in the cabin. The room rates for the five passengers are generous and the volume of the luggage compartment is the best in the segment, being a reference among the superior segments, with its 573 liters. A capacity that can be increased by folding the rear seats. Some versions are even equipped with an extra storage area in the trunk.

But it is not just the space that is highlighted in the cabin of the new Dacia Logan MCV breaker. The quality of the interior lives up to the brand's evolution in this field, especially in terms of ergonomics, the quality of materials and equipment available. Not being a reference, it meets the minimum requirements without compromising.

In fact, for the new Dacia Logan MCV break, there is a range of equipment that until recently were not available at the brand, with emphasis on the MediaNav, a complete multimedia system (available as an option for 300 €), Mp3 connection and auxiliary , speed limiter and regulator, rear parking aid and other safety features such as: dynamic trajectory control, emergency braking assistance and ABS. This is in addition to the already standard front and side airbags.

The new Dacia Logan MCV breaker is available with the new TCe 90 and 1.5 dCi 90 engines, the most recent blocks of the Renault Group, which combine low consumption with interesting performance levels, but also the proven 1.2 16V, although in the Bi version -Fuel (GPL). The 1.5 dCi 90 engine incorporates most of the new technologies from the Energy family that contribute to consumption of 3.8 l / 100 km (in mixed cycle) and CO2 emissions of 99g/km. Interesting values, in a block with 90 horsepower and with a torque of 220 Nm available from 1,750 rpm.

The TCe 90 block is a turbocharged three-cylinder gasoline engine, with a displacement of 899 cm³, which has performances similar to a 1.4 liter atmospheric block. With a low-inertia turbo, it delivers 90 horsepower and 135Nm of torque at 2,000 rpm, claiming interesting consumptions of 5l / 100km (mixed cycle) and CO2 emissions of just 116g/km.

As an economical alternative to traditional fuels, the 1.2 16v 75 hp block is actually available in the BI-FUEL GPL version, with a lower cost of use and lower CO2 emissions (120 g / km in LPG mode). With a significantly lower cost of supply, the use of LPG is clearly more competitive than traditional fuels, resulting in savings of €320 per 15 thousand kilometers travelled, compared to an engine exclusively powered by gasoline.

The new Dacia Logan MCV, like the rest of the Dacia range, benefits from a 3-year or 100,000 km contractual guarantee.
