What can go wrong? Top Gear drag race with no hands on the wheel

We have long been used to the “crazy things” that the Top Gear team presents to us in each episode. From crossing deserts in cars more ready to go to the scrap yard than to circulate to creating “crazy” caravans, we've already seen a bit of everything, however the video we bring you today is a novelty.

In the latest video of the famous TV series, the team consisting of Chris Harris, Matt LeBlanc and Rory Reid decided to make a drag race in which they pitted a Mercedes-Benz, a Rolls-Royce and a Bentley, all from an era when luxury was synonymous with champagne glasses in the center console and not a huge touchscreen.

The problem? No using your hands! Top Gear presenters (The Stig, at the controls of a Dacia Sandero) just accelerated and hoped that everything would go well. Needless to say… it didn't go well.

“Look mom, no hands”…

As soon as the starting order was given, the three cars began to drift (The Stig's Sandero always kept straight ahead), with Rory Reid's Rolls-Royce crashing into the back of Matt Le Blanc's Bentley a few meters after departure.

However, the biggest scare fell to Chris Harris, who, like Matt LeBlanc, decided to step on the accelerator and ended up seeing his car flee into the grass. When the famous presenter managed to take the Mercedes-Benz back to the asphalt he almost ended up ramming the Bentley, in what was the scariest moment of the entire drag race.

In the end, we have to consider that the winner was The Stig as they were the only ones who managed to complete the entire race without incident and without taking their hands on the wheel. Matt LeBlanc still managed to complete the race without leaving the track, while Rory Reid did most of the race in off road mode in his Rolls-Royce.
