Renault 4L returns in 2017

Anonim

The Renault 4L is one of the most loved cars ever and the French brand wants to capitalize on that love with the launch of a new version, positioned below the Twingo.

Clearly inspired by the first generation of the Renault 4L, this new model will use the platform of the old Clio and the current 0.9 Tce engine, in two versions: 70hp and 90hp. The purpose of the French brand is clear: to relaunch the Renault 4L respecting the assumptions of the first generation, that is, low cost, simplicity and functionality.

The prices of the new Renault 4L should be positioned slightly below the current range of the Renault Twingo – a model that should assume a more «premium» role after the facelift scheduled for 2017.

Yes, we know they weren't in this April Fools' song – maybe in this one, no? But more than trying to deceive you (no need…), what we really wanted was to publish images of some models that we'd like to see again on the roads. Others not so much…

Greetings from the entire Razão Automóvel team and… Happy April Fools' Day!

note: “César what is Caesar”, the project you see in the images is by David Obendorfer, industrial designer graduated from the MOME Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design in Budapest. Currently, David works at Mauro Micheli and Sergio Beretta's Officina Italiana Design designing yachts. His hobby is creating modern versions of classic cars.
