Cold Start. You have to be creative to sell a used Ford Focus

John Thomas Goerke has a modest 2010 Ford Focus for sale (North American version). A car on its way to its 11 years and already with more than 190,000 kilometers, which would easily go unnoticed by many people in the midst of so many other advertisements.

You have to be creative to capture the attention of potential customers. So John and some friends created a movie with a premise behind it that says something like us is that we “style” the car and not the other way around.

In the video we see a man (John himself is the main character) driving to his Ford Focus after a “full” night. And the “magic” happens, with this individual being able to revitalize himself while driving this… revitalizing… machine.

All with a careful editing, to the sound of a cover of the famous theme “Blinding Lights” by The Weeknd — whose video clip seems to have had an equally great influence on the composition of this film.

The end result is a great little film, and it remains to be seen whether the creative focus on Focus has already guaranteed its sale.
