Launched earlier this year, the Ford Puma now see your range grow. To this end, the blue oval's B-SUV will not only receive a new version, but also a diesel engine and a new gearbox.

Starting with the new variant, this is designated ST-Line Vignale and aims to combine the sporty style of the ST-Line variants with the more elegant and luxurious features of the Vignale versions.

It brings with it a grille with satin aluminum details, a lower grille in black and a generously sized rear spoiler. It comes equipped with LED headlights, Windsor and Manacor leather seats and steering wheel, respectively, a B&O sound system and the Ford KeyFree system.

The new engine…

Under the bonnet, the big news is the arrival in the Puma range of a Diesel engine, the 1.5 EcoBlue 120 hp.

Coupled to a six-speed manual gearbox, this engine promises CO2 emissions of 118 g/km and consumption of 4.5 l/100 km on a WLTP cycle.

In addition to the new engine, the Ford Puma will also offer a new seven-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox, associated with the 125 hp 1.0 EcoBoost.

With this transmission, the 1.0 EcoBoost announces consumption of 6 l/100 km and emissions of 137 g/km.

For now, it is not known when the Ford Puma with diesel engine will be available in Portugal or how much it will cost. The same is true for the new transmission and the ST-Line Vignale variant. And it seems that this is not where we know the Puma ST, the high-performance version.
