All prices and range for Portugal of the new Opel Corsa

Anonim

The new Opel Corsa it's already “landed” in Portugal and we've already driven it — it won't be necessary to wait much longer for the publication of our first test of the sixth generation of the historic German model (Corsa F).

By now you should be aware of what lies beneath the body of the new Corsa.

The new generation was developed in record time, after the acquisition of the German brand by the French group PSA in 2017, using the same hardware — platform and mechanics — as the also new Peugeot 208 — you can find out more in detail by following the link below.

Opel Corsa

In Portugal

Now about to start marketing in Portugal, Opel has announced how the range of its best-selling model will be formed.

Numbers

6 generations, 37 years in production — 1st generation was known in 1982 — and more than 13.7 million units sold. Of these, more than 600,000 were in Portugal, and according to Opel Portugal, more than 300,000 units are still in circulation.

There are five engines available, three gasoline, one diesel and one electric — although it can already be ordered, the start of marketing of the Corsa-e will only take place in the spring of next year.

For gasoline we find the 1.2 l three-cylinder in three versions. 75 hp for the atmospheric version, 100 hp and 130 hp for the turbo versions. The Diesel has four cylinders with 1.5 l capacity, and 100 hp of power.

These can be associated with three gearboxes, a manual five for the 1.2 75 hp; from six to the 1.2 Turbo 100hp and 1.5 Turbo D 100hp; and an automatic (torque converter) of eight — for the 1.2 Turbo of 100 hp and 1.2 Turbo of 130 hp.

There are three levels of equipment to choose from: Edition, Elegance and GS Line. THE Edition represents access to the range, but is already stuffed q.b. Among others, it features equipment such as heated electric mirrors, speed controller with limiter, or air conditioning.

Opel Corsa
Opel Corsa GS Line. Inside, everything remains the same compared to the Corsa-e.

All Corsas also come equipped with driving aids such as Front Collision Alert with automatic emergency braking and pedestrian detection, and traffic signal recognition.

The level elegance , more focused on comfort, adds items such as LED interior lighting, center console with armrest and storage compartment, electric rear windows, 7″ infotainment system touchscreen, six speakers, Mirrorlink, rain sensor and LED headlamps with automatic high-low switching.

The level GS Line is similar to Elegance, but has a sportier look and vocation. The bumpers are specific, as is the chassis tuning — firmer front suspension, recalibrated steering and optimized engine sound (we assume electronically). The seats are sporty, the roof lining becomes black, the pedals in imitation aluminum and the steering wheel with a flat base.
